AIU / CERTIFICATE MONITORING

Server agent.

Monitor certificates behind a firewall or a private login.

Private server, same visibility.

Install the PHP agent on the monitored server and run it daily via that server’s cron. It initiates an outbound HTTPS report; no public endpoint or inbound firewall rule is needed.

  1. Add a domain using the Server agent check method.
  2. Copy bin/agent.php to the private server, outside its web root.
  3. Set its endpoint, domain ID, hostname, and secret using the values below.
  4. Run it daily: php /home/USER/sitehealth-agent.php.

SSL is checked before HTTP authentication, so ordinary login pages still work with external checks. Use the agent for network restrictions. The agent checks the locally reachable TLS endpoint with the domain’s hostname.
